Building a Better Tomorrow in 2021

As we come to the end of 2020, we realize that a new year means a new chance to make a difference and build a better future. In connection with all the building we do, we also are conscious of the nature that surrounds us and gives us life. In all our projects we strive to create amenities such as ample square footage, intricate details, and a gorgeous view. However, it is important for us to realize that mother nature requires these same amenities and is the giver of those views we seek, so we must work together to respect and protect her. Therefore, we at Estrin-Hinds Construction have committed to not only finding new ways to increase our green efforts, but to a new passion project with Nature Needs Half.

Nature Needs Half, a coalition founded and lead by the WILD Foundation, is an international effort to ensure that nature has the space it requires to survive. Unified by a mutual respect and concern for life on Earth, they work across boundaries to connect with scientists, conservationists, nonprofits, and public officials to defend our planet and transform the relationship between society and nature. With a long-term goal to protect 50 percent of the planet’s lands and seas by 2030, we feel called to join the fight! Nature Needs Half enables those who wish to help through numerous programs including becoming an ambassador, membership, donating and signing the petition for their Global Deal for Nature.

During this holiday season, Estrin-Hinds Construction Co, Inc. President and CEO, Eric Hinds, shared this idea with his employees and inspired participation by giving everyone a Nature Needs Half coffee mug and making monetary donations to the organization in lieu of gifts. It has been a hard and unprecedented year. If we have learned anything, it is the importance of working together for a better tomorrow. Taking care of our planet is part of that and we are looking forward to participating with Nature Needs Half in this new year to ensure we have many more tomorrows to come. We encourage you to follow us on social media to stay up to date with us and how you can join the cause. An Attitude of Gratitude

During this special time of giving and celebration, we recognize that we have been given a tremendous gift – the ability to keep doing what we love. With so many local businesses around the nation struggling to stay afloat and some even needing to make the hard decision to close their doors permanently, Estrin-Hinds Construction Co, Inc. has managed to stay open, secure jobs for our employees, continue to work with our partners in the field to build something beautiful together. For this we are exceedingly grateful and know it is a blessing not to be taken for granted. Thank you to all our employees, subcontractors, clients, and our community during this unprecedented time. We will continue to work with and support these partnerships as we move into this new year and strive for a better tomorrow.

WE ARE DOING A TOY DRIVE!

Given the many uncertainties this year has presented, we recognize there is great need all around us. Please join the E-H team in giving back to our community this holiday season. We are participating in The Salvation Army Angel Tree Toy Drive and will be accepting donations from Monday, Nov. 30 through Friday, Dec. 11. Drop off any new, unwrapped toy for a boy or girl age 0 – 12 years old to our office collection box Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

PHYSICALLY DISTANCED, BUT DEFINITELY NOT SOCIALLY “DISTANT”.

E-H proves its commitment to keeping clients and team members safe even when celebrating the retirement of nine-year E-H Project Manager, Thatcher Wikel. Six-feet apart today, but forever close in spirit, the E-H team wish Thatcher many happy returns as he ventures on to spending time with his beautiful wife, Bekki, grandchildren and family, and taking care of his chickens! Thank you, and good luck Thatcher!
